Medical and artificial intelligence notice
What Clinoly does, what it does not do, and the limits of its artificial intelligence assistant.

1.What the Service is
Clinoly is practice-management and patient-record software. It organises the information healthcare professionals record; it does not interpret it.
It is not intended to be a medical device within the meaning of Law No. 84-12 on medical devices and is not registered as one. It makes no diagnosis, recommends no treatment and never replaces the practitioner’s clinical judgement.
2.Clinical responsibility
- Diagnostic and therapeutic decisions, prescriptions and the advice given to patients are exclusively the healthcare professional’s.
- The calculations shown — body mass index, age, totals — and the trend charts are reading aids. They rest on the data entered and must be checked.
- Consultation and prescription templates are drafting aids, to be adapted to each patient.
- The medication database speeds up entry. It is not exhaustive and flags no contraindications, interactions or dosage errors: the practitioner checks every prescription.
3.The artificial intelligence assistant
Where the clinic enables it and its plan includes it, an assistant can summarise a history, structure notes or draft a letter. It is bound by the following rules, which the software enforces:
- it makes no diagnosis and prescribes nothing; requests to do so are refused;
- every output is presented as a suggestion, to be reviewed, corrected and confirmed by the practitioner, who alone takes responsibility for its content;
- it never writes to a record on its own: nothing is saved without an explicit action by the practitioner;
- a prescription derived from a suggestion requires express confirmation;
- where the clinic requires it, it can be used for a patient only once that patient’s consent has been recorded;
- every use is logged.
4.Data sent to the assistant
To produce a suggestion, the assistant sends its provider, [to be completed], the text the practitioner submits and only those parts of the record the requested task needs. That data is used solely to produce the response.
The publisher selects providers whose contractual terms exclude using submitted data to train their models. Where the provider processes that data outside Morocco, the transfer is governed in accordance with Law No. 09-08; see the list of Subprocessors.

6.Reminders and messages
Reminders and messages sent by email, SMS or WhatsApp depend on third-party networks and services. Their delivery is not guaranteed: a clinic must not make them the only way it passes on information that matters to a patient’s health.
